Anthropia - The Ereyn Chronicles-Part 1
Magna Carta

file under hardrock / aor

Anthropia - The Ereyn Chronicles-Part 1Fons: Anthropia is a one man project of Hugues Lefebvre from France, who is, except for the drums, responsible of all the other instruments on this cd. Definitely not an easy job, but the 24 year old wiz-kid managed to record a masterpiece all by himself.

With a mixture of Dream Theater, Pain Of Salvation, Yngwie Malmsteen and Angra, musically and lyrically, you will be taken on an incredible adventure. We are heading on a long journey through dark woods and over raging seas, meeting dwarves, elves, dragons and monsters, falling in love with a princess and if that is not enough, we lose our memory in the end. That is only the first part of the story, parts two and three of ‘The Erryn Chronicles’ are about to follow the next couple of years. And if both parts are just as good as part one, we finally have our long awaited metal version of the Lord Of The Ring-trilogy! There may be some improvement on the production of the album, especially Lefebvre’ vocals are mixed in too soft. For the rest is this album a must have for fans of the above mentioned bands, especially considering the fact that none of them will release a new cd this year! Anthropia made a majestic piece of work, which can easily compete with the top notch bands in this genre.
