Mercenary - The Hours That Remain

 Ralph: Things went fast for Danish outfit Mercenary. Ever since they switched from Karmageddon to Century Media de band is constantly active in scene and covered in press. They got some rave reviews on their last effort ’11 Dreams’. After two years of touring and writing it is time for some new material; ‘The Hours That Remain’.
Unfortunately one of the key members, singer/bassist Kral, left the band but his replacement Rene Pederson is doing an awesome job. ‘The Hours That Remain’ has all classic Mercenary features in it. The melody, the variety in vocals etc. Ever since ‘Everblack’ (2002) this band created a unique vibe on their albums, which is hard to describe. Just listen to ‘ Year Of The Plague’ and ‘Soul Decision’ and you’ll know what I mean. The band grew and proves once again to be a major league player.
