Fons: Now that Lordi opened a lot of doors for other Finnish hard rock bands, by winning the Eurovision Song Contest last month, a band like Grudge’s Claw is bound to take advantage.
This Finnish combo was founded back in the year 2000, and this mini-cd, ‘Vision Weaver’ is their first release ever.

Grudge’s Claw play some sort of epic, but also melodic hard rock like Hammerfall and the solo efforts of Rob Rock. Not a lot of new stuff, but the three songs are performed and produced very professionally. Lead singer Texas, joined by illustrious names like Ditch B. Tomessey and Hofu BlacK, has a very varied voice, which makes the somewhat predictable songs a joy to listen to. Grudge’s Claw has enough potential to become a famous act, and with this CD they have given us a little teaser for what is to be expected in the future!
