Ralph: This promo CD lacks all additional information. The self released album ‘The Hurricane’ is all I have from Solid Vision. After some searching here and there and a bit of google-help, I can tell you this is an Italian outfit. Their website looks great, so know I am even more surprised that they didn’t put the same effort in their promo package. Well, the music counts of course!

Melodic, progressive power metal it is. What’s wrong with that? Nothing! But in this case it’s nothing really special either. This mix of Dream Theater and Helloween is pretty good but nothing sticks to my head. I feel like the band is still looking for their own style, a musical jacket that fits them, and you can hear that.
