Murder Therapy - The Therapy (Demo)
Self-financed

file under death metal / grindcore

Murder Therapy - The TherapyRamon: My bike was stolen today. Right out of my shed, behind the house. I file in with the police, tell them where I think the thieve stashed it, and I get the following statement: “whatever you do, don’t act upon yourself, next thing you know, you commit an offence that’s much more severely. We will not be looking at the mentioned address before we are being sent in by the central office and they will not do so before they have received your form, which should be with them in about five office days”. AAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH, give me an axe! I still have some people left on my hit list that I could use to cool my anger on, since I will be punished, I might as well go all-in, I don’t care anymore. How the hell do you get to become so bureaucratic?.. Luckily I have a Zen-like patience and the ability to persuade in a calm way, so that a local officer did indeed check out the same day. But (by that time) my bike wasn’t there.

Well, I just might as well put on a nice and violent cd in order to canalize my unsettled feelings. What a coincidence, the therapy I choose for myself earlier that day is embodied in an Italian band. What an incredibly good band name. Anyone can relate to it one way or another. You’re not going to tell me that you as a just metal head never played with the fantasy about who you’d rid if given the chance to kill one person and get away with it. I hope you never actually put the act where your thoughts were, then the therapy would have missed its goal. Metal is a great outlet as it shows your feelings under a magnifying glass. How therapeutic. Therefore, I think it will be around for quite some while.

I haven’t told you anything about the band, yet. Shame on me. That’s what you’re here for. Well, they are from Italy (Bologna) and they play traditional death metal. At least with a lot of sense for traditional metal. The name is perfect from another point of view, as you exactly know what kind of band you get when confronted with such a name. And that’s filled in just as you expected. A bit playful, inaccessible for pop-rock lovers, true die-hard mid-tempo violence, from the very depths of the human psyche. Oh, do I belong to this genre, when I hear an Italian demo band like this that shows that in metal a lot more happens than in most musical currents. Although I must be honest and admit that I hear nothing that I haven’t heard before. But sometimes that’s ok. I drank beer before, but that probably won’t stop me from doing it again one more time tonight. Nor will that be the last time, I think. It doesn’t have to be different by all means. And in this flavor (I am talking about the band again now) it’s always nice to kill some time. Near stainless demo, really dressed up nicely, so that they have put on their friendliest face to ask if someone is willing to sign them. Difficult when you’re from Italy, bur not unthinkable. Click on anything you can find of them, maybe you’re done fast, but if not, I gave you a nice suggestion for the near future.
