Koen: This is an album I’ve been looking forward to for the past few years. I really liked their ’Human Chaos’ MCD, but there were some points of interest: more variations in riffing and speed and more creative drum parts. Well I guess these guys from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) have been listening to my opinion, because the new album is FUCKING GREAT! The album just blew me away. From the opening track ‘Vicious Circle Of Bloodshed’ (forget the intro ‘As They Reign And Slither’) to ‘Flesh And Memories’ to my personal favourite ‘For Every Victim Fallen’, this album is sheer quality and I haven’t even mentioned ‘Beyond Our Sins’ and the five remaining tracks on this album yet.
Nervecell created an album that’s fresh, grandiloquent, immense and most of all: it’s fucking brutal! As I mentioned before, Nervecell consists of Rami Mustafa and Barney Ribeiro (guitars) and James Khazaal (bass and vocals) and for drum duties, Nervecell uses session drummers. This time they’ve been utilizing the talents of David Haley of http://www.psycroptic.com/" target=_blank>Psycroptic and he really added some flavour to the band. I hope these guys will be able to tour over here soon because there isn't one bad song on the album and they all showcase an amazing talent. Purchase this album and you'll never regret it. I guess you won’t be able to buy this one in stores so check out Nervecell’s homepage and ask for details.
