Peter D. : Death Metal-the-Gothenburg-way, strange rythms, Meshugga-like guitars, grunts, screams, a bit of black metal, some sampled violins, clean guitars, clean male and female vocals… The second album of the Norwegian band Extol has it all. These influences make Undeceived a very interesting album. Well played and -produced, also. There aren't really great songs on this album, which causes attention to cease a bit at the end of the album. Fans who like some adventure, however, will enjoy this progressive, sometimes technical album.
