Koen B. : I had all forgotten about Illdisposed until now. In bygone days I was bored with the so-so death metal on such albums as 'Four Depressive Seasons' or 'Submit'. The band is fairly known in their homecountry. For instance, they played the Roskilde Festival. With a new recorddeal (they switched from Die Hard to Roadrunner) there's a new start for this band. The cd was produced by reliable Danish top metal producer Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Hatesphere and Ektomorf). From an Illdisposed view, the songs are better and more varied than ever. The music on this eight album is comparable to the harder Machine Head songs, but singer Bo Summer barks like a dog and this makes this CD less accessible than Machine Head. Fans of last mentioned band ought to listen to 'Now We're History' and 'Still Sane'. Finally some acknowledgement after fifteen years of hard labour?
