Pim B. : Incinerator put themselves on the map straight away with their debut ’Stench Of Distress. These Frisians now deliver a great second album that is the perfect follow-up to the debut. Opening track ‘Waiting To Rot’ is the confirmation. You’ll clearly hear those influences of Slaughter and Dismember. Due to the vocals you can make a link to Martin van Drunen-era Pestilence. And on a slower track such as ‘Dead’ Asphyx comes around the corner. Most songs are fast-paced though, hence you can shoebox Incinerator in the death/thrash corner. The eleven songs have been recorded by the band, but the mix and master was done in Sweden at Studio Unbound by Jonny Petterson (Wombbath, Gods Forsaken amongst many others). So, there are no complaints about the sound. ‘Concept Of Cruelty’ is simply a very strong album.
