Cor : Once they started out as an enthusiastic, sloppy punk rock band, but this still very young band has already developed to making music coming close to some huge names from the nineties. To give some direction, one may think in the direction of bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and Afghan Whigs. I’ve seen them live in action just a few months ago, and I must say these guys keep impressing me. As regular visitor of festivals, you cannot miss these guys, and I have seen them quite a few times the conclusion ‘has to be they got better every time. The boys have gone through a huge individual musical development, and as a band they grew to be a well oiled machine with the capability to drag along pretty massive (festival)crowds. Being able to pull that off, a band has to truly convince an audience, and that’s exactly what they do; bringing a show loaded with musical craftsmanship combined with hearable devotion and joy towards their music. Maybe I.m not the most objective one as someone really digging this band in a live setting, but in my humble opinion the band (and recording crew) succeeded to catch that experience in these recording. Two CD’s (or vinyl albums!) filled with great recordings of these fellow countrymen who deserve some credit for this achievement at this early point of their career and age.
