Koen W. : A few years ago, I reviewed the debut Hellequin’ from this experimental French band. Their mix from metalcore, metal, nu-metal and even some jazz sounded great. Now they come back with the EP ‘Vultures’. This is the first one from a threesome in which each EP is standing for a different universe. ‘Vultures’ is the synonym for the Warrior Vulture, the theme reoccurs in the music. Nice sounding metalcore with a lot of groove, roaring and grunting. ‘Unit 732’ has a playing time of something above the six minutes. It is filled with sharp riffs en rhythmical roaring and ready to make the crowd completely insane. The band plays regularly slower accompanied by a telling voice. You will not hear any technical masterpeices, but the feeling, the passion and the urge to experiment makes this band worth to discover.
