Henk : India, the promised land for metal bands. Whoever has seen the 'Flight 666' concert documentary knows how metal live at concerts by a band like Iron Maiden. Not surprising, of course, that in one of the fastest growing economies in the world there are also musicians who like to play metal. Falcun from Kolkata who releases their debut 'Kingdom Come' on the world is such an example. Nine classic metal songs on this disk. The band has listened carefully how the greats of the earth have done it, but unfortunately they still lack the technique to bring the same quality as their examples. The often good ideas are too often lost in a not so very good production. This makes it all a bit messy and that could not have been the intention. Unfortunately, the guitars are not that well tuned everywhere, so this first attempt by Falcun is not a very good one. However, there are also positive things. Abhishek Dasgupta is a great singer and at times the solos from guitarist Samrat Daas are really okay. Unfortunately, this does not make this album a successful debut.
