Koen B. : Today I would like to introduce you to Mike Litoris Complot (shout it out loud and you will figure it out). They are a band from Luxembourg that exists since 2009 but only recently debuted with ‘The Art Of Pony Party’ on their own Buppfeck Records. At the time I’m writing this review, I don’t really know where you can buy a physical copy of the ‘Pony’ CD, but check their Bandcamp or Facebook profiles and you might figure it out some day. Only a 1000 exist, so I advise you to hurry up before it’s too late.
The Mike Litoris Complot guys are highly inspired by some prominent bands that debuted on Earache Records between 1988 and 1990 if you ask me. ‘Before…And After’, ‘Old Lady Drivers’, ‘Reek Of Putrefaction’ (1988), and ‘Left Hand Path’(1990) can be seen as blueprints for the ‘The Art Of Pony Party’. Ever guessed what Spazztic Blurr meets Old Lady Drivers meets Carcass meets Entombed sounds like? Just start worshipping Mike Litoris Complot and you will find out immediately. Be sure to add some My Little Pony to your likings as well. This is an ode to the old school of death metal!
