Deadly Alliance - Dehumanization

Label : Eigen beheer | Archive under speed / thrash metal

Release type: Full-length CD

Koen B. : Deadly Alliance are a band from the east of The Netherlands that came into existence in 2012 or so. They debuted with a self-titled four track CDemo in 2013 and now Deadly Alliance has self-released their first full-length effort ‘Dehumanization’. All songs of the aforementioned demo are added as bonus to this CD so the entire D.A. discography is present on this one. The CD is available through the band’s website, so do dare to take a quick look and an inconsiderate purchase to support the Dutch underground scene!

It’s clear these youngsters are highly inspired by the likes of the pioneers of the speed and thrash metal movement that popped out in the Eighties. Probably the band members hadn’t been born yet, but their music anyway sounds genuine enough to my ears. Deadly Alliance are above average song writers and decent musicians but in my opinion they need to try to satisfy their own intellectual curiosities and realize their own musical curiosities and passion instead of trying to sound like others.

‘Dehumanization’ however has become an agreeable debut that will probably get the bands a few good gigs and a deal with a suitable record label. We will see what the future will bring for Deadly Alliance. This ain’t bad, this ain’t bad at all.
