Cor : The "wilder" in the title is not that extreme; this is pretty accessible, solid, melodic pop rock. Some sleazy hard rock, a bit of the grunge component, and a zip of brit-pop can be discovered in the music of Greybeards. One can come across a riff reminding of Chrash Kelly for example, or an arrangement making you think of Bush or Foo Fighters, or a melody in the line of Wildhearts. Actually I haven't heard one really striking song, but neither one disturbing in any way; simply an easy going, very easy consumable album. Some tracks certainly worth listening; ‘Come Undone’ and the final track ‘The Nerve’, which is brought as if it's the Grand Finale of a smashing live show.
