Koen B. : Templeton Pek are a three piece melodic punk band from Birmingham, U.K. that was founded in 2005. The band is named after Dirk Benedict’s fictional character Lieutenant Templeton “Faceman” Peck from the Eighties’ hitseries The A-Team. They debuted with ‘No Association’ (2008), followed by ‘Scratches & Scars’ (2010), ‘Signs’ (2013) and ‘New Horizons’ (2015). Their newest album is entitled ‘Watching The World Come Undone’, which is out through Drakkar Records.

The German record label is fairly known for its metal releases but has always concentrated on different sorts of music as well. Take Templeton Pek’s newest output. It contains powerful yet melodic punk / hardcore with a political message as well (you figure out yourselves if you dig their lyrics or not). As an old hardcore fart, the band vaguely reminds me of bands such as 7 Seconds, Rhythm Pigs or D.I. but Templeton Pek are quite original though and their music sounds fairly fresh anno 2018. A genuine and good pleasant-sounding act!
