Job : Siksided hails from Italy and plays a very familiar, ad nauseam kind of mix of Alter Bridge, Taproot, Staind, Black Label Society and Sevendust. This entire record is basically all about southern alternative rock and isn’t afraid to wear that on its sleeves. It’s as if you’re transported 15 years back in time the instant you press play on ‘Leave No Stone Unturned’. Now, that’s not a good thing in this case, mind you. Absolutely nothing on this record adds to the formula that’s now been obsolete for a couple years. The band seems more focused on emulating than innovating and never truly sounds genuine. For anyone that’s always hell-bent on putting on that 2000s alternative playlist on Spotify at parties – this might be right up your alley. For anyone who just felt breakfast coming back up at that description, I’d suggest leaving this record in the bin where it belongs.
