Koen W. : These Danes make their debut with 'Prime Collective'. An album by which they will reach an international level without doubt. Hold on to your hats for ten songs that burst with flowing guitar melodies interspersed with more aggressive short riffs. The vocals effortlessly changes from a more aggressive metalcore voice to clean, which makes it quite accessible. Despite the frequently returning hard verses, they will still be appreciated by a wide audience. A song like 'June' is very radio-friendly due to its dramatic undertone and immediately deserves a place in every hit parade. Ditto for 'The Current' where Mirza Radonjica-Bang comes to reinforce the vocals. 'It Stays' is also such a potential hit. Where you sometimes seem to listen to pop music, you suddenly get a firmer vocal to hear. Daze Of June will certainly succeed in convincing a lot of people who are not familiar with the metalcore or the metal genre in general. Some may even be surprised because in spite of the sometimes softer elements, they also dare to play it very rough.
