Berto : Coffin Torture delivers a very heavy album with their debut album 'Dismal Planet'. This is particularly evident in the riffs, which are strongly connected with doom metal: heavy, heavy riffs that radiate sluggishness, but in the meantime help to shred your underbelly. But that heavy aspect also manifests itself in the fact that after listening to the album you have the feeling of carrying all the misery of the whole world on your shoulders. The psychedelic sound of the songs gets stuck in your brain, to do his destructive work there too. Coffin Torture is a bit heavier than most doom or sludge metal bands, because of the influences of death metal, so the purists among you well might need a bit more time to take in the latent class of the band. The seven songs have a solid structure, are logically heavy as fuck, and radiate a certain kind of quirkiness. It is not the most commercial form of music you can choose, so if you want to play this kind of metal then you should also throw in all your convictions and if Coffin Torture does something, it is convincingly execute a song. A compliment also for the psychedelic-looking cover, really a gem and it also predicts the atmosphere of the album
