William Kampen : Goddamnit. What am I supposed to write about Funeral Winds what no one knows yet? “Goddamnit” pretty much covers is. Ever since the heydays of black metal, they do what they do best. Blasphemous black metal. There is not much more to it. I have got a broad music taste, but in regards to black metal, I am a puritan. The thing that bothers me, though, apparently every fine arts hipstes thinks they like black metal, so they start their silly little band. I also do not like the fact that there is going to be a 'Lords Of Chaos' film. Neither do I like the fact that black metal is approachable these days, as if it is some kind of tourist attraction where fools think they can tell me what it all is about nowadays.
Fuck off and go back to your hip nonsense. I was attending this black metal gig the other day, where me and my friends came to the conclusion that the gig was mediocre at best. Out of nowhere, this random crustclown comes by and tells us that if we did not like this band, we are not into black metal. Eat my shit. In two years, you will be long gone, off to the next hype and we will still be there. In the real circle. Listening to the rotten black metal by Funeral Winds.
