René : When I heard this name something in me said I've heard of this band before. I was sure they were around in the early 2000s. After some web research and a dive into my enormous (and not so well documented) death metal collection I found their debut 'Susperion (2002) and gave it a listen as well. On that record they delivered some cool guttural US death metal somewhat reminding me of Morbid Angel, but then a bit more chaotic and with more long doomy, sometimes drone-like stuff in between ('God Of Emptiness' came to mind). On this second CD not much has changed. The album only contains four long tracks that perfectly fit the description above. The sound on this CD is as thick and heavy as it gets and grabs you by the balls from the start. No intro, no unnecessary shit and brutal as fuck! A must-have for all fans of this kind of stuff.
