Koen W. : Born Again was founded in 2016 by four friends with the aim of making hard, melodic and powerful metal. The band members themselves are no longer the youngest. This is mainly reflected in their musical experiences that you hear on their debut. And that's a lot of great riffs and captivating guitar solos. The spirits of Phil Lynott and Gary Moore were noticeably present during the recordings. Singer Thierry has despite his raw voice, yet the ability to provide everything from solid vocals. Opener 'New Generation' let you instantly meet with a very accessible song. After half a listening, you can already sing along with them. Bands that play very technical and complicated music may be there. Yet everyone also needs sometimes a hefty dose of relaxation. And let it is be precisely that which makes it Born Again’ so nice. Through their uncompromising ‘je m'en fou’ attitude is 'Strike With Power' is a fun, accessible and relaxing album.
