Winston : 'Road Of Bones' is the most recent studio album of IQ, still one of the best progressive rock bands, and it made a big impression on me so it ended high up in the year list of 2014. The band took the album on the road and when in Holland they recorded the live DVD 'Scrape Across The Sky’, which can be seen as a beautiful crown on the career of the Brits. Singer Peter Nicholls is as theatrical as Peter Gabriel in his Genesis days. But the band itself don’t take themselves too serious, and so it is humorous sometimes. A beautiful cross-section of the IQ repertoire guarantees beautiful, charming and energetic prog where they have become well known for over the years. Unfortunately (because it is a personal favourite track) 'Promises' is not on the setlist. But that was with a different singer (Paul Menell) from the album 'Nomzamo’. Nevertheless this DVD is a must.
