Cor : I don’t know why, but after the first few releases of DeWolff, I haven’t purchased any further albums of them anymore. When there was an opportunity to visit the band live, I did attend the shows, and it was always very much worth it. Maybe it’s because this band is a real live band in my opinion, something I am still sure of; these guys play with superb craftsmanship and devotion. Listening to the new album proves them to be a musical feast in the living room also; the Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Grand Funk Railroad influences (and loads of similar stuff) comes thundering through the speakers in extremely high quality. Compared to the early material of the band, this new album contains much more compact songs, something they obviously have thought about thoroughly, but it still sounds with huge passion and enthusiasm. Actually there can’t be found one single less attractive track; all songs are simply just great stuff for anyone into classic early seventies rock. I think I still have to get their previous albums to make up for letting these guys out of my sight.
