Wilco : Metal is thicker than water. Just take a look at the beautiful, adorable, Alpine village of Vils in Austria. It's amazing that the population is big enough to form a band, let alone a death metal band.
But still, Infected Chaos has its base in this village and has big plans, according to their biography.. We must prepare for the coming metal storm…from Vils. However, the experienced death metal consumre should be able to handle this album without any problems. The band serves solid, sturdy death metal, supported by a good sound. The vocals are filthy and thus fine. The music in itself is also OK, pretty well every song has its memorable moments. It is striking that these are largely instrumental pieces. Recently it strikes me that death metal bands do not appear to have the capacity to generate good vocal melodies. That is where these guys fail as well. As a result, we again encounter an album that is not bad at all, but it is too general. I can’t really recommend this album to critical fans. On the other hand, diehard fans of death metal can buy this one without hesitation because there is no bad song on this album.
