Cor : The sleazy rawk 'n' roll of King Savage strongly reminds me of Gluecifer meets LA Guns, and many things in between. Easy consumable catchy tunes with appealing raw guitars and lightly sandpapered vocals. Especially the guitars attract positive attention; both the tight rhythm guitar as the solo parts are experienced as very pleasant, as well as the fine-tuning of cooperation and volumes of both guitars. A real pity that the vocals cannot appeal in the same way. Still, the presented material is certainly strong enough to have a very nice listening experience through the ten songs on this album. Also I got the impression this being quite a fun evening to visit a live show; check them out when they're in the neighbourhood, these guys seem to be able to build quite a party.
