Winston : When you have found a style as progressive rock band which let you move in a musical landscape where you meet bands like Marillion, Arena, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater then that means there is a nice creative freedom. This proven by Myon and their new (fifth) album called ‘Vital Works'. Relaxed manouvering between a melodic, complex and catchy soundscape Myon has recorded a good successor to the eight years ago released 'Frameworks'. Singer Marco Mannermaa has a charming voice, sometimes an accent (Finnish) can’t be hidden but overall it is nice to relax to. The musicality of the band members keep this band upright for quite a while now and it is a true strength of Myon. Nice growth this band has gone through.
