Kevin : Sometimes music can be hard to label, sometimes music isn`t even the right word to describe the sounds on an album. Temple Ov Decibel brings us just that, something outside all conventions, something that just doesn`t belong. What is it then? A kind of sound collage. The unholy lovechild of Abruptum, MZ 412 and the record bin of your local flee market. A completely demented soundtrack to the rotten life of someone eternally reliving his bad LSD trip. For the duration of thirteen “songs” you are bombarded with hysterical screams, maniacal vocals, sounds that may or may not have emanated from an instrument, sporadically mechanical drums and the most diverse samples. Together they weave a hellish cacophony, the hymns of the mad and deranged. I think this is genius, but I also think almost no one will agree with me. This is extreme music in the truest sense of the word.
