Winston : Wow, this band has got the right spirit. Dutch prog rock band Sylvium, started in 2010, finished off an EP (2012) and the first album (2014), now already they release 'Waiting For The Noise'. Iron must be forged while it is hot right? With this seven track album Sylvium makes the step forward that I hoped they would. A passage from my previous review;"With the hope that this line up stays together I expect that the third album Sylvium will be a blast, this is a pretty run-up to it" The glove is well picked up and I would like to congratulate the band with a strong album. IQ, Pink Floyd, Yes are just some of the big names that you can keep in your mind. There is a nice atmosphere on this concept album, though the subject is of imminent death. Melancholy is caught in a beautiful and varied musical frame. Singer / guitarist Richard de Geest impresses again and the band as a musical collective sounds tight and full of inspiration. Keyboardist Antal Nusselder impresses as wel with original effects and sounds. So a very successful successor and highly recommended.
