Pim B. : Quite a few things have changed in the camp of Sweden's Feral since their 2011 debut 'Dragged To The Altar'. The band switched from Ibex Moon Records to Cyclone Empire. The drummer got replaced and guitarist Petter Nilsson quit. He wasn't replaced but has been around as engineer/producer of this second album. He managed to give Feral a great and brutal sound. It's less sterile compared to the debut and I think that is a step forwards. Musically not a lot has changed. I still think Feral sounds like Grave but with more groove to the songs. I can imagine people are getting bored by all these Swedish death metal bands that are more or less interchangeable. But die-hard fans of this style and sound will also add a great album to their collection with this Feral's second CD.
