Johan Z. : I rarely came across a band where I could not find any background information, these fellows are completely anonymous. Except for this release and some style information from the label there is nothing known from them, not even their country of origin. Unknown does not have to make unloved right away, this twenty minute acquaintance with them is an odd one. Ambient black know from bands such as Paysage d’Hiver and Moloch with some solid grind influences. The pace goes from icy calm to destructive fast with a uneasy, grim atmosphere. Rasping vocals which are far in the background and a very raw production make this a piece of work that makes me look forward to their album which is announced for later this year.
