Pim B. : 'Black Jesus Saves' was originally released as a demo in 2010 and later that year the same effort from this Australian band was reissued on the also Australian label The Coffins Slave. The American label Hells headbangers now releases the same recordings as a limited slab of vinyl: 300 copies in total on red and black vinyl. The music can be described as straightforward death metal. No crazy stuff but simple, pounding old-school death metal with a punk-vibe. A bit in the direction of a band like Autopsy. In just under twenty minutes eight songs are delivered. Even when it's not all that bad I can't get really excited. It's a mediocre band and we already have plenty of those.
