Winston : Sweden harbours a large scale of genres that find their place in Lords of Metal. Reform balances on the edge of jazz and prog rock but because of the guitar factor fall in the good side to be featured in here. Prog rock bands with a jazzy background aren't around too much anymore but there are some nice examples with Yes (first two albums), King Crimson and the early Pink Floyd too. Freeform arrangements and performance are known facts in this genre and that's what you get on the double (!) album 'Reveries Of Reform'. I expected it hard to get through but that wasn't the case at all, the guys know what they are doing but that's no wonder when you know this is their sixth album already. Nice melodies, great guitar work and tasteful vocals at times. For a nice relaxing evening very suitable, which is nice for a change.
