Richard G. : Youthful energy and a venomous drive abound within this young group from Bristol, England. On their self financed debut record 'Disposable Suffering' Seregon blow your socks off with their tight, machine-like riffage and a throaty, old school roar (not the hip brutal, unintelligible pig style). However, we remain down to earth (as opposed to our British colleagues): Seregon are not metal Messiahs nor are they the new Metallica.
Seregon is rather the new Chimaira or Devil Driver, but way more thrashy. The full and thick guitar sound, the strong staccato guitars and the sufficient amount of temporizations are all elements that enhance the overall picture significantly. Originality is not their strongpoint, but basic metallic qualities and the potential for more are most certainly present. Maybe some support from a decent label will take these blokes to the next level, they seem ready for it.
