Frank D. : Yes yes yes, they played on the Kerrang/Snickers Unsigned competition. And yes, they landed a record deal. The obvious question that needs an answer though is of course: why? Just to be clear, it certainly isn't bad what the gents bring to the table, but it's just not compelling. The UK-based band plays a kind of polished US thrash. Nothing wrong with that, but original? Nope.
The production is not top-notch and the vocals are mediocre. Take further in account that the tracks are somewhat chaotic and dull and the final verdict is clear. Tracks like 'The Rules Of Engagement' and 'Blind Faith' can be submitted as evidence A and B. So Kerrang may hail this as the best thing since sliced bread, I think that 'And So It Begins' is also the last thing we're going to hear from these guys.
