Frank V. : This might look like a new record, however this CD only contains two older self-financed albums that where quite difficult to get until now. The question remains of course: did we miss out on anything and should we be grateful for this, kind of, re-release?

The first nine tracks of the CD are from 'Secrets Vol.1', but the overall sound quality is not that good, to be honest it's pretty bad. The band claims to be influenced by bands like Cirith Ungol, Manilla Road, Omen and Warlord. Now I can imagine so, for Enchanter's music comes from the same barrel, but sadly enough the songs themselves are boring and uninspiring. O the second part of the CD we hear the other album, entitled 'Symbols In Stone'. This one contains seven tracks and has a heavier approach. The sound is better, but still not ass-kicking. The songs have more structure, but are still lacking something that could make them more than moderate. Also singer Maurice Fauteux sounds quite annoying every now and then. So, after balancing the pro and cons, I just can't seem to think of a good reason why anybody would like to purchase this record.
